I accept tried all of these things already, at leat twice with some of them. Equally for compatibility manner, Windows ten is not an selection. I have tried running both the programme & the install in compatibility for windows vii & viii without any success.
I have both repair installs & make clean installs later removing all the software, drivers & cleaning out rest files.
Everything you have suggested is well known to me as this is a repeat of the bug Windows 10 had with Dolby Digital & DTS upon retail release & was fixed a couple months later but seems to have come back after the last update.
Thank you for the prompt response & I would profoundly appreciate if yous could provide me with something else that might assist resolve this issue.

I had recieved an email inquiring every bit to whether this result has been resolved or not.
No it hasn't been resolved. There has been a lot of give-and-take with creative over the issue but neither of us has had whatever solution as of yet.
I am nether the assumption that it is a problem with the Windows ten code as it was before just before & effectually a month after release later the windows 10 release. If at that place is a patch or or some grade of installer for the DDL or DTS that I tin can use it would be appreciated, even a response as to whether at that place is work beingness washed to resolve the issue would exist helpful.
It isn't only the Sound Blaster Z cards through the SPDIF using the DTS or DDL that are having this trouble but almost any carte that utilize the DTS & DDL accept ceased to function correctly subsequently Windows updates.
I know of this as I have been scouring the cyberspace trying to find whatsoever form of solution over the last few weeks but there is nothing that helps.

I am having the verbal same problem with my Asus Xonar U7. As stated trouble was fixed for a while just the current build, 14322, actually removes the device upon testing DDL and requires restarting the sound service to show back up. I have not tried my onboard Realtek device to run across if information technology's working because it sounds so much worse.
Asus actually states that they have removed support for DDL in their latest driver until MS can fix the coding.

I concluded up taking the last resort method, I did a make clean install of windows 10 as the factory reset just kept failing & the folders go on locking every bit read only but after a clean install the sound is working again.
Information technology seems that at that place is something update process as the occasional build updates ever seem to have 1 driver problem or another but a make clean install and doing all the updates before installing whatever other software seems to work just it is withal a bit of an annoyance that this has to be done with almost every major update. Making updates an optional procedure might be necessary if this continues every bit it seems that some preparation might be required or some setups cannot handle certain build updates.
I have had a friend who can no longer use the Xbone controller after the same build update that killed my sound every bit his PC blue screens every time he turns it on. I am having problem with the Dolby plugin. I have to keep reinstalling the whole thing to make it work. Says that the driver I have installed is for a different Dolby software, and not the ane I need.
